Once we had settled with our stay at Taman Lake View homestay, we planned to have a group dinner that nite after those who joined Rogaining finished with their briefing. So, me Fatma Amie Dila and Dayang went for an aimless adventure driving in Taiping while waiting for them. Since it was an aimless driving, (the main objective later was decided, to buy Fatma's top-up at 7Eleven), we somehow got lost. We were already in Kamunting and headed to Butterworth by Amie's GPS guidance. Haru-biru masa tu. At last, we finally found our way back by following our own instincts. It was quite late at that time that we all had separate dinner with the others. Lepas makan, terus balik, penat, terus tido.
While some of us involved with Rogaining on that Sunday morning, the five of us went for hiking thru the jungles of Bukit Larut. I was hoping to take pics of flora and fauna that are rarely found since I borrowed a macro lens from Razif. Susah jugak nak guna kalau tak praktis dulu. Berat pulak tu coz there are 3 flashes attached to the camera and lens. Hiking pulak stamina kurang. Huhu. Sampai Permai View, after 8km hiking, we headed back to kaki bukit by truck. Gigil lutut.
Zana's team won for the 2nd prize for Open Mixed category while Zahir's team won the Dynamic Team title. Congrats guys!
We headed back home that nite around 7pm. It was in the middle of our journey back, when I felt a cold small object at my right upper leg. When we stopped at perhentian Tapah for solat, I was rushing to the ladies. Ada pacat pulak dlm seluar kat pangkal peha pulak tuh. Patut la rasa sejuk semacam sebab darah byk keluar. Solat memang kene bukak jeans. Hish...ngeri sungguh! Sampai rumah dlm kul 1 pagi. Ngantuk kat opis esoknye. Zzzzzzzzzzzz.....
